There are Disney days, and then there are Disney days. Mother’s Day at the Grand Floridian fell firmly in the second category.

1900 Park Fare — The Surprise We Didn’t See Coming

We walked into 1900 Park Fare expecting one thing and got something completely different — and it made the whole morning even more magical.

The restaurant itself sets the stage perfectly. High ceilings, soft blush walls, gorgeous murals, vintage chandeliers, and a warm Victorian elegance that feels like a natural extension of the Grand Floridian lobby. Both girls were in full princess gowns. I wore my pink striped dress with the bow and pink headband. We felt every bit like royalty walking in.

Snow White surprised us — and Charlene claimed her as her favorite immediately. 🍎

We were expecting Aladdin. Then Snow White walked in.

The look on Charlene’s face was everything. Snow White became her instant favorite — and when Snow White twirled with both girls right there in the restaurant, spinning them around with pure Disney princess energy, I may have teared up a little. I’m not sorry about it.

Snow White twirled with my girls. Right there in the middle of the restaurant. That moment is going to live in my heart forever.

Mirabel was Noelle’s absolute favorite of the morning. When Mirabel came to our table, Noelle lit up in a way that only a toddler who deeply loves Encanto possibly can. The joy on her little face was the best Mother’s Day gift I could have asked for.

The other characters throughout the morning rounded out the full fairytale experience. Every single one brought something special. 1900 Park Fare on Mother’s Day is the real deal — put it on your Disney bucket list immediately.

The Grand Floridian Lobby

After breakfast, we made our way up to the lobby for photos — and if you haven’t stood under that chandelier, you are genuinely missing out.

The Grand Floridian lobby is one of the most beautiful spaces in all of Walt Disney World. Multi-story atrium, grand iron railings, Victorian elegance, warm golden light. Both girls in their princess gowns against that backdrop was a dream.

The Grand Floridian lobby — there is truly no backdrop like it ✨

We also got to sit inside one of the resort’s beautiful carriages for photos — the gold velvet canopy, the leather seats, the whole royal presentation. Noelle tucked right into my side. Charlene posed with her hand on the railing like she had done it a hundred times before. They were completely in their element.

This is what the magic looks like. Not in the parks, not on a race course — just here, in this lobby, with these two little girls who make everything feel like a fairytale.

Happy Mother’s Day to every mama living her own magic. ✨
